Do I have to pay my co-payment at each appointment?
Yes, payment is expected at the time of service unless prior arrangements have been made.

Do I have to update my information annually?
Yes, we like to make sure everyone’s information updated at least annually in order to better serve each patient.

Can we make payment arrangements?
Yes, please contact the business office for more information.

Insurance Coverage

What insurances you accept?
We take all major insurance. We recommend you call our office to verify coverage.

Do I need to get a referral from my primary-care physician to see one of the orthopaedic doctors?
It depends on the insurance you have. We recommend you call your insurance company to make sure you do not need a referral from your primary-care physician.

Scheduling and appointments

Can I schedule my appointment online?
You can submit a request for an appointment online. A representative from our office will contact you within 24 to 48 hours to schedule the appointment.

Can I choose what office location I want to be seen at?
Yes, as long as the physician you are scheduled with treats patients at that location.

Can I complete my registration forms before I go to my doctor’s appointment?
Yes, you can complete the registration forms by printing them from our  “For Patients” tab.

What should I bring to my first appointment?

  • A list of all current medications you take to include over-the-counter medications and supplements
  • A copy or disk with all X-rays and/or MRIs that have been taken of the body part we are treating
  • Radiology report from X-ray or MRI
  • Identification such as driver's license or military ID
  • Insurance information or insurance ID card

How can I get a copy of my medical records?
You can request a copy of your medical records by filling out the following form Medical Record Request and sending it to us. (This form can also be found on the “For Patients” page.)

How do I choose a doctor who is right for me?
All our physicians at Northeast Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine are excellent and compassionate doctors. Please view each of our physician’s profiles under the “Physicians” drop-down menu under the Meet Your Team tab.
