Brian E. Schulze, MD

Brian E. Schulze, MD - San Antonio, TX“I was involved in high-school sports and exposed to recovery from musculoskeletal injuries. I worked with coaches, trainers and team physicians who sparked my interest in orthopaedics. Recovery from injury or orthopedic surgery gives patients a ‘light at the end of the tunnel’ and gives me the gratification of helping people overcome their problems and regain their lives.

“I enjoy the patients’ satisfaction as they overcome their pain and recover their function. I believe in giving patients the opportunity to express their concerns and I strive to answer all of their questions so they can make more informed decisions about their treatment choices. I try to put myself in the patient’s situation.”

“It’s been a year since Mom’s surgery, and I wanted to send some pictures to show you how great she’s doing. In October, she went to Ft. Walton Beach, FL , with my brother and sister-in-law. She truly enjoyed herself. In December, she and I flew to Seattle, WA, to visit our cousins.
