Jamie L. Lynch, MD - San Antonio, TX“I have always been impressed at how the body functions. During medical school, I realized I truly enjoyed surgery. Then once I realized orthopedic surgery attempts to improve the body’s function, I was drawn to this specialty. I have special interest in helping athletes at any level of competition.

“I have experience caring for professional athletes in the NFL and NHL, working with the Detroit Lions and the Chicago Blackhawks. Yet, I have also been on the sidelines for youth, high-school and college sporting events throughout my training. I also spent five years training in a level-one trauma center in Chicago, where I addressed orthopedic trauma and general orthopedic disorders.

“It is vital to listen to the patients, as they know and understand how their bodies feel. I formulate a plan after a thorough discussion with the patient and explanation of all their potential treatment options. I strive to give patients improved and pain-free function.”
