Research

Northeast Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine conducts clinical trials under Unlimited Research to find the newest and safest ways to find treatments for people that are experiencing musculoskeletal disorders. Studies include osteoarthritis, minor surgery sedation, post op studies, carpal tunnel, and DVT's to name a few.

Unlimited Research is an experienced orthopaedic research site which focuses on Phase II, III and IV research trials. Our goal is to assist the pharmaceutical companies/sponsors in the research and development of new medications and medical therapies while providing high quality care and safety to our patients.

Our site has achieved "Top National and International Enroller" status on numerous trials.

Unlimited Research is a Member of the Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP). The center's trained and experienced research staff includes backgrounds in nursing, recruitment, patient screening, and regulatory affairs.

Our site has two main principal investigations, Dr. David Fox and Dr. Scott Sledge. We also have several Sub-Investigators who all have experience in conducting clinical trials.

Projects

Osteoarthritis of the Knee: 26 week trial consisting of 2 Intra-articular injections with follow-up visits
Osteoarthritis of the Knee: 13 week trial comparing oral Study medication vs Naproxen vs Placebo
Total Knee Replacement DVT trial
Meniscus Tear: Consists of one Stem-cell/control injection with follow-up visits and MRIs
Osteoarthritis of the Hip: 13 week trial comparing Oral Study medication vs Celebrex vs Placebo

All trials are of no cost to the patient, and includes: Medical Exams, X-rays or MRIs (as indicated per protocol), and Study medication.
