Our Patients Share Their Stories

“It’s been a year since Mom’s surgery, and I wanted to send some pictures to show you how great she’s doing. In October, she went to Ft. Walton Beach, FL , with my brother and sister-in-law. She truly enjoyed herself. In December, she and I flew to Seattle, WA, to visit our cousins. We drove to Port Angeles to stay there, and we visited a few towns and wineries in between. I would have never thought Mom could make a trip like that! The only time she really needs to use her cane is if she’s doing a lot of walking. (She often forgets where she leaves it because she doesn’t need it as much.) I am amazed at God’s mercy and kindness upon her.

“I hope you and your staff had a wonderful, joyful holiday and New Year. Every person there at your office is great and made us feel cared for. I am thankful that God sent us to you -- we couldn’t have asked for a better doctor! Yes the Lord does answer prayers. Blessings to you -- We’ll see you in May.”

“I had my right knee replaced in July 2007 and my left knee in November 2007. Before I had my knees replaced I was in so much pain that life was almost not worth it. Every time I would stand up I was in so much pain that it compared to having your hand slammed in a door. Also, most of the time I had to pop my right knee into place in order to walk. My Grandma had ended up in a wheelchair and I knew if I didn’t do something I would end up there also.

“The secret to having a successful knee replacement is 1st have a great doctor and second keep your knee moving. I would always say 'no pain no gain.' I would sleep with my leg on the continuous motion machine. As long as I kept my knee moving it felt better. Even though it’s been 2 years since my knee replacement I know it’s still very important to keep exercising. I do yoga and Zumba at the Wellness Center in Seguin. As you can see my knees are very flexible. I also can kneel when I take communion. Once again thank you God and your doctors for my new knees and my new life. Life is good!!”

“The waiting time to be seen was under 15 minutes. The entire staff from the time I arrived to when I left was very professional and caring. The doctors took their time to answer any questions I had and made sure that I was receiving the proper treatment. I highly recommend them to anyone needing expert medical service in this profession.

“I have seen them on several visits over the last several months and am very pleased with their care. I would recommend them for any of your orthopaedic needs.”
